Hughton and his players are desperate to collect every point they can as they attempt to make an instant return to the Premier League, and that means maintaining their unbeaten home run whoever the opposition.

“More than that, for us, it is about three points. We can talk about derby games whenever they come around and the importance of derby games, and all of those things are fact.

“What is also fact is we are at home and, whoever we are playing against, the objective has to be to win the game and take the three points.”
