KK: Everyone could stay

THE Newcastle players left out in the cold under Kevin Keegan have been told they still have a chance to secure a future at the club.

Kevin Keegan has been expected to show several big names the door this summer.

But the United boss is insistent that men who have not featured in his side’s recent revival may yet be around next season.

The likes of Alan Smith, Damien Duff and Charles N’Zogbia have been unable to contribute much to the Magpies’ turnaround.

But Keegan said: “I think playing for their futures is too strong, but there are still players who have got a chance to stake a claim for next season. There is still a lot to play for.”
