LEAGUE leaders Cornforth Utd defeated Gateshead Leam Rangers 3-1 in a top-of-the-table clash to make it eight consecutive league wins.
John Cooke netted a brace and Michael Graver added a third. Liam Allinson reduced the arrears.
Brandon British Legion overcame Hebburn Town Jnrs 5-1.
Steven Parnaby put Brandon ahead, but Steven Mullholland drew the visitors level at the break.
The second half saw Brandon take control with goals from Gavin Wood, Andrew Nicholson, Scott Bryden and Steven Paranaby.
Birtley St Josephs won 5-2 at home to Brandon Utd Reserves and Durham Garden House continue to climb the league after winning 1-0 at Hartlepool St Francis.
Elsewhere, Coxhoe Utd won at Washington Town 3-2 and Hartlepool Town kept in touch with the leaders thanks to a fine 5-2 win at Wheatley Hill.
Shildon Railway travelled to Ebchester Reserves and won 5-3.
Coundon & Leeholme bowed out of the Auckland Charity Cup after going down 4-3 away to Darlington GSRB.
