WHITBY Town came from behind to claim a point at Matlock Town.
The home side went ahead after seven minutes when the visitors’ defence failed to clear and Nathan Joynes beat goalkeeper David Campbell from 10 yards.
Tony Hackworth and Jimmy Beadle went close to equalising before Lee Morris doubled Matlock’s lead, with Whitby’s defence culpable a second time.
Two goals in four minutes before the interval levelled the scores. David McTiernan slotted in and on the stroke of half time an Ashley Lyth free-kick was converted by Beadle.
