Bishop Auckland 5 Penrith 3

BISHOP Auckland are seventh in the STL First Division after coming out victors in a high-scoring match which see-sawed throughout.

Andrew Johnson side-footed past James Holland for a home opener before Scott Allison reversed the lead, equalising on the quarter hour then adding a second shortly before half-time.

Dan Hawkins levelled with a 51st-minute penalty before Martyn Coleman nudged the Cumbrians ahead on the hour.

However, in a rip-roaring finish, Bishops scored three in the final ten minutes. Stephen Salvin tied the scores at 3-3 before Hawkins struck twice to complete his hat-trick.
