Whitby Town 0 Chester FC 4

WHITBY fell to defeat against Chester at the Turnbull ground.

The visitors had the game sewn up by the interval as they held a three-goals lead.

After dominating, and home ‘keeper Campbell saving from Booth, the visitors took the lead in the 14th minute when Luke Hogan tapped in.

Dandy in the Chester goal, saved a Robinson free-kick as Whitby tried to get back into the game, but then, Robinson fouled Simm as he ran into the box and Matthew McGinn converted the resultant spot kick.

Minutes later, McGinn extended the lead firing home, then McNeill missed an open goal from six yards.

Chester’s Wright outstripped the Whitby defence and he was met by Ian Howard who finished with ease.
