Berwick 34 Caithness 10

BERWICK rounded off their home programme in familiar fashion with victory over Caithness at Scremerston.

The ‘Blacks’ who have lost only once on their own patch all season now face five consecutive away matches with their bid to gain promotion from the National League Division Two hinging on the results.

Berwick who are currently second top and led 24-3 at the interval ran in a total of six tries.

Gareth Hill crossed the line twice and the others came from Webster, Black, Tringle and Young while McFarlane kicked two conversions.

The visitors’ points came from a converted try and a penalty.
