Flood victims allowed back home

Hundreds of householders and business owners in Cockermouth are being allowed back into their flooded properties. The 900 homes and firms affected by the water are being re-opened, but Cumbria Police said the buildings will have to be checked for sewage, structural stability and electrical safety.
