    Funeral service for former Toon player

    The funeral service for "Busby Babe" and former Toon player Albert Scanlon has taken place. Scanlon, who died last month aged 74, made his debut for Sir Matt Busby's Manchester United first team in 1954 and was on the ill-fated flight from Belgrade to Manchester following a European Cup match in February 1958. He also went on to play for Newcastle United in the early 1960s.
