Geordie rocker Mark Knopfler cannot bear to watch old TV footage of himself taken during his 1980s heydays.
The former Dire Straits guitarist and frontman has claimed he cringes at images of him belting out hits such as Money For Nothing and Sultans Of Swing.
Knopfler, 55, who grew up in Gosforth, made the revelations in an interview with Uncut magazine.
