Celebrity Love Island winner Jayne Middlemiss is being wooed by ITV bosses in an effort to create the new Cilla Black.

Jayne, 34, will meet ITV entertainment boss Claudia Rosencrantz to discuss offers.

A new-look Blind Date is being proposed by ITV and Bedlington-born Middlemiss is apparently their first-choice presenter.

An ITV source said: "She'd be perfect for dating shows."
