Pop vocalist Cheryl Tweedy has revealed she thinks she is the luckiest girl alive.
The Heaton-born singer, 24, who shot to fame in the show Pop Stars: the rivals in 2002, is now engaged to Arsenal and England left-back Ashley Cole, and can't wait for the big day.
In a magazine interview she revealed: "Ashley asked for my number a good few times, but I wasn't interested.
"Then I went to see a physic in Newcastle and he said `you have been looking at a guy in a magazine and you need to pursue this' and I had. So he gave me the push to give Ashley my number.
"When I was a little girl I didn't want to get married. But the minute Ashley asked me I knew it was right. I just feel like the luckiest girl alive."
