Duo are up for award

Geordie duo Ant and Dec are in the running to be crowned men of 2005.

The pair have been shortlisted for the title by top lads' mag FHM.

But they had their own ideas on who should get the gong. Ant, 30, said: "Scott Parker has been a great signing for Newcastle, so he'd get my vote." Dec, meanwhile, said Jose Mourinho deserved it.

The pair go up against England cricketer Andrew Flintoff, boxer Ricky Hatton, comics Matt Lucas and David Walliams, soccer star Steven Gerrard and rocker Ricky Wilson.
