Only Fools and Horses star Nicholas Lyndhurst is making a new sitcom for the BBC. The actor will play a divorced father in the BBC1 commission After You've Gone. Lyndhurst's "jack-of-all-trades" character Jimmy Venible ends up living with his mother-in-law in the comedy, which began life as a pilot earlier this year. The actor's last sitcom, the time-travelling show Goodnight Sweetheart, ended in 1999 after running for six years.
